Mayweather walking on a girlfriend tightrope

Unbeaten Floyd Mayweather Jr. gave himself a “C, C minus” grade in Saturday’s unanimous decision over Argentina’s Marcos Maidana.

Maybe months of girlfriend problems have taken a toll.

Having to juggle the presence of two girlfriends at the MGM Grand Garden would leave most men nervous wrecks.

Doralie Medina stood out in the fight crowd in a radiant silver and pink gown. He reportedly bought her a Rolls Royce for her 30th birthday on July 27. She was also seen inside the media center after the fight.

A Reuters photographer took a shot of model Liza Hernandez at the fight. She has been linked to many famous athletes, as well as Jerry Buss, the late owner of the Los Angeles Lakers, and actor Vin Diesel. Hernandez was recently photographed accompanying Mayweather on a trip to Panama. A photo of Mayweather and Hernandez embracing on a jet stairway was posted July 12 by Mayweather’s daughter, Iyanna, 13.

Where Medina and Hernandez were seated for the fight was not clear. My guess is they were on opposite sides of the ring.

But what is clear is they aren’t Mayweather’s only girlfriend problem.

His former fiancée, Shantel Jackson, went on a Twitter rant last month in which she lectured Medina to stop worrying about her. “You should be worried about the 6 other women he has.”

Jackson, who broke up with Mayweather in 2013, hired attorney Gloria Allred this year and filed a lawsuit against Mayweather in September. She alleged assault, battery, defamation, invasion of privacy, intentional infliction of emotional distress and harassment.

She claims that he first physically harmed her in 2012, right after he was released from a two-month jail term that involved a domestic abuse case involving former girlfriend Josie Harris, the mother of two of his kids.

Shortly before Mayweather’s release from jail, Jackson had a birthday party at N9ne Steakhouse at the Palms with a group of Mayweather’s friends that included rapper 50 Cent.

In her suit, Jackson also claims Mayweather again physically harmed her and pointed a gun at her foot and asked, “Which toe do you want me to shoot?”

She has hinted she’s considering publishing a tell-all book.

Mayweather took to Twitter in May to address why they split.

“The real reason me and Shantel Christine Jackson @missjackson broke up with because she got an abortion, and I’m totally against killing babies. She killed our twin babies.”

Medina has a cosmetics business under the brand Bad Medina. On her website, she said she joined Mayweather’s camp in 2011 as his personal massage therapist and that he provided her $100,000 for her to start the cosmetics business.

CAROLYN UBER: REST IN PEACE

A dear friend died Sunday.

Carolyn Uber, former president and publisher of the book division of Stephens Media, owner of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, put up one feisty fight with cancer. She died in City of Hope, Calif.

She was such a bright, funny woman so full of joy. We worked together during the publication of my two Las Vegas books.

We had so many laughs over the years, the biggest after a long-delayed lunch at El Sombrero in early 2011.

A month or two later, a prominent New York travel writer did a story on Las Vegas.

Included in his roundup of don’t-miss places was the El Sombrero, described as “a divey Mexican joint.”

His colorful account suggested the clientele could be on the sketchy side.

“In one booth sat a 300-pound man and his elderly mother, both in black bowling shirts advertising a bail-bonds outfit,” he wrote. “In another, a guy with an eye patch. These were not tourists.”

I called Carolyn and read the passage to her, to remind her of the rough company she kept. I shared with her that the other paper in town ran the article, but removed our favorite passage.

I’ll never forget her howls of laughter.
