Former Riviera employees to party before casino closes

At least 200 former Riviera employees have signed up to throw one last hurrah in the hotel, according to Lisa LaMarca, wife of a longtime worker.

It’s a 6 p.m. get-together on Monday in the Wicked Vicky Tavern, some 60 years after the Riv opened.

“Many old-timers will be there,” from dealers to bosses and members of a hotel softball team, LaMarca informed me.

This is one of many reunions happening at the legendary, but soon-to-be-departed casino. If you know of other reunions, give me a shout.
