Stellar Awards
Sin City's gonna have to live up to its name somewhere besides The Orleans. The Stellar Awards are back in town to honor the best in gospel music. Saturday's awards show in Orleans Arena (later to air on TV One and in broadcast syndication) starts at 6 p.m. and includes gospel luminaries Yolanda Adams and Kirk Franklin, as well as current nominees such as Anthony Brown. Slaughter and Great White
Slaughter, the Las Vegas rockers who broke big in 1990, have come home enough lately that it's less like nostalgia and more like hanging out with old friends. Ray Romano and David Spade

Joe Williams Scholarship Concert
Keep campus life swingin'. Support College of Southern Nevada music scholarships with the toe-tapping Joe Williams Scholarship Concert at 2 p.m. Saturday. Guest singers Reva Rice, Ronnie Rose and Niki Scalera join the school's big band and jazz singers in the Nicholas Horn Theatre on the Cheyenne campus, 3200 E. Celine Dion
