“Heated Rivalry” is scoring big with hockey romance fans. Since its Thanksgiving weekend debut, the steamy television adaptation of Rachel Reid’s 2019 novel has dominated social media feeds and inspired a growing fanbase devoted to the queer romance at its center.
Here’s a look at some of what’s new on streaming services this week.
“The Elephant,” streaming on HBO Max alongside a documentary on its creation, “Behind the Elephant,” is an animated take on exquisite corpse, the old surrealist game in which three artists contribute the head, torso or legs of a single figure, folding the paper so as not to see what the others had drawn.
Good television should challenge you, stretch your imagination and teach you something new. But sometimes it should also meet you where you are.
The free fan event will take place between the release of episodes 5-7 and the series finale.
