Vegas Fringe Festival Schedule

Following are descriptions of the plays and the performance schedule of the Vegas Fringe Festival:

"Life Under Water" by Richard Greenberg (produced by Las Vegas Little Theatre): A pointed portrait of the bored, self-indulgent denizens of New York’s trendy Hamptons retreat, examined through love affairs spanning two generations.

"Soil" by Charles E. Drew Jr. (Absolute Theatre): A prison story about the soul’s will to be free.

"Ptolemy Had a Silver Nose" by Sean Critchfield (Endless Productions): An ideological study of two idealists trapped in a well by a totalitarian government.

"Great Falls" by Lee Blessing (Found Door Theatre): Two people sort through the wreckage of divorce while traveling through the Rockies.

"White Girl" by Maythinee Washington (Maythinee Washington, producer): A questioning of racial and gender identity through language and choreography.

"Unfinished" by Ernie Curcio (Zzyzx Kid Productions): A man holds an art seminar about the motivations behind the final painting of his best friend, who committed suicide.

"Perturbed" by Ernie Curcio (Born and Raised Productions): A teacher makes a video message for one of her students, with topics including cat lovers, female genital mutilation and fish-eye soup, with a surprising climax.

"Arthur and Esther" by Ross Howard (Taylor Hanes, producer): Dark comedy about a librarian coping with the loss of his job, wife, best friend and family.

"The Last of the Las Vegas Magicians" by Fin Keegan (Butcher Block Productions): A doctor and a nurse neglect their patient — a Las Vegas magician with a trick or two left to play — at a Las Vegas hospice.
