UNLVino kicks off with tasting
The 36th annual UNLVino runs from Thursday through April 10. The event, which supports scholarships for students at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, will kick off with Bubble-Licious -- a tasting of sparkling wines -- from 7 to 10 p.m. Thursday poolside at Caesars Palace, 3570 Las Vegas Blvd. South. A tasting featuring 150 sakes is scheduled for 7 to 10 p.m. April 9, poolside at the Palms, 4321 W. Flamingo Road, and the Grand Tasting is set for 2 to 6 p.m. April 10 at Bally's, 3645 Las Vegas Blvd. South. Tickets for each event are $75 in advance, $100 at the door.
