The story: In 1950s Connecticut, a suburban couple struggles to raise two children -- and come to terms with their personal problems.

The buzz: The long-awaited reunion between "Titanic" sweethearts Winslet and DiCaprio also represents a collaboration with another significant Winslet other: the actress' director husband, Sam Mendes, who returns to the themes of suburban malaise he explored in the Oscar-winning "American Beauty." Speaking of Oscars, Winslet could be celebrating twice come Jan. 22, when nominations for the 81st annual Academy Awards are announced; in addition to "Revolutionary Road," she also could be in the running for "The Reader."
