This week’s 5 best bets for what to watch
‘Labyrinth’
It isn’t quite the same as rushing out to see “Purple Rain” when Prince died. But you can celebrate the late David Bowie with “Labyrinth: 30th Anniversary.” See it at 2 and 7 p.m. Sunday and Wednesday at Colonnade, Sam’s Town, Santa Fe, South Point and Village Square.
‘One Mississippi’
An L.A. public radio host (Tig Notaro) returns to her small Mississippi hometown to be with her dying mother in the dark, semi-autobiographical comedy “One Mississippi” (Friday, Amazon).
‘Son of Zorn’
An animated, He-Man-style warrior (voiced by Jason Sudeikis) from a faraway island returns to Orange County, California, to reconnect with his live-action ex-wife (Cheryl Hines) and teenage son in “Son of Zorn” (8 p.m. Sunday, Fox).
‘American Horror Story’
After taking place in a haunted house, an asylum, a coven, a freak show and a hotel, “American Horror Story” (10 p.m. Wednesday, FX) kicks off its most mysterious season yet.
‘South Park’
“South Park” (10 p.m. Wednesday, Comedy Central) is entering its 20th season, which ties it with “Gunsmoke” and “Law & Order” as the second-longest-running scripted series on U.S. television. The longest? “The Simpsons.”
