The Gold Mine Tavern, 23 S. Water St., plans to host its second annual Wish List Drive & Biker Appreciation Night at 5 p.m. June 20 to benefit the Nevada State Veterans Home in Boulder City. The festivities, held in partnership with the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, will collect items that veterans in need put on their wish lists in addition to funds. Items include restaurant and phone gift cards, hats, travel-size toiletries, forever stamps from the US Postal Service, picture frames and puzzle books. The 20th anniversary of the Vans Warped Tour is planned for June 19 at the UNLV Intramural Fields, 4505 S. Maryland Parkway. The all-day festival is set to feature 90 bands on multiple stages. The Las Vegas Singles Travel and Social Club for mature singles plans to meet at 7 p.m. June 24 at the Tap House, 5589 W. Charleston Blvd. The club meets the fourth Tuesday of every month. A half hour of social time is planned prior to the meeting, which consists of a short business portion, introduction of guests and that month’s speaker.
