Terrible’s lets winners risk second chance

Every Wednesday in March, Terrible's will select 25 winners who will draw $100, $200 or $300 in cash or free slot play from a drum. They can then decide to keep the money or draw from the "Second Chance Drum" that contains coupons for trips to Hawaii, cruises to Mexico, two-to-20 times the amount already won or one-half the amount already won. Players receive tickets for every 250 points ($250 coin-in) earned on their cards up to a maximum of 100 drawing tickets per week -- and must be present at the drawing to win.

On March 15, one lucky Hard Rock player will walk away with either a Rockstar Package worth $10,000 or (player's choice) $5,000 in cash. The Rockstar Package includes two nights in a penthouse suite, breakfast in bed, butler service, one-day Lamborghini rental, VIP concert tickets and dinner at Ago. Second and third place winners will receive $250 in free play, fourth to seventh place winners get $100 in free play and eighth and ninth place winners receive $50. Players earn entries for every 100 base points ($100 coin-in on slots, $200 video poker) earned from Sunday to March 15. The drawing takes place at 7 p.m., and winners must be present.

At 8 p.m. every Saturday in March, the Silverton will select 10 winners to receive a total of $25,000 including a $20,000 grand prize. All new Discovery Club members receive 25 free entries, and all members receive one entry for every 50 points ($50 coin-in) on their cards. Tickets also can be earned at keno, poker and in the pit. Winners must be present at the drawings.

New Amigo Club members at the Fiesta Henderson and Fiesta Rancho who earn 100 points ($100-$400 coin-in; no point redemption required) will receive $20 in free slot play. We were not told how long this promotion will run, just that it is for a "limited time."

Every Tuesday in March, The Club at South Point members will receive a 50 percent redemption discount when using their points to purchase a buffet.

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and March 16, Fitzgeralds will pick a random "hot seat" winner every half hour to receive $100, plus a chance to "be Dublin' it" by drawing a lucky gold coin from the Pot-O-Gold.
