Mexican symphony to perform Wednesday

The State Symphony Orchestra of Mexico will perform at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Artemus Ham Hall, 4505 S. Maryland Parkway.

Under the direction of Enrique Bátiz, the orchestra will perform Brahms' "Academic Festival Overture" and Schumann's "Symphony No., 3 in E-Flat Major."

The concert is part of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas' Charles Vanda Master Series.
