Academy Theatre presents Vietnam play

The Las Vegas Academy Theatre will perform "A Piece of My Heart," based on the war experiences of six women in Vietnam, beginning Thursday in the Academy Black Box Theatre, Lewis Avenue and 10th Street.

Shirley Lauro's play follows four military nurses, a Red Cross volunteer and a USO singer. The play is not recommended for children younger than 12.

Performances are set for 7 p.m. Thursday through March 29 and April 3-5.
