South Point kicks off its $200,000 Great American Turkey Hunt
The $200,000 Great American Turkey Hunt begins at the South Point on Sunday when players can begin earning tickets for two Wednesday drawings from Nov. 11-Dec. 2. At both the 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. drawings, 15 names (who must be present to win) will be drawn, and each will win $1,000-$5,000. Players receive two virtual drawing tickets each day when they swipe their cards, and one virtual ticket is given away every hour to all slot club members who are playing with their cards. Players also will receive an entry for each session of bingo.
All points earned at Arizona Charlie's Boulder, Arizona Charlie's Decatur and the Stratosphere in November can be used to shop for gifts in a special catalog containing more than 600 gift items, including home electronics, hair care and jewelry, and you get to keep your points.
Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday in November, Palms players can earn their share of $207,000 in gift cards. All cards (worth $5-$100) are awarded based on the number of points earned in one day. For example, 300 points for slots ($300 coin-in; no point redemption required) and 600 points for video poker will earn you a "Level 1" card, while players earning 7,000 same-day points on slots and 14,000 same-day points on video poker can pick up a "Level 6" card. On Sundays (8 a.m.-10 p.m.) in November, Club Palms members can swipe their cards to win various prizes, including up to $500 in free slot play, up to $1,000 cash, Palms apparel, offers from The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and more.
The Cannery is passing out free holiday treats on Saturday to all Halloween bingo players at all sessions, while supplies last. If you prefer a Whitman's Holiday Sampler, then head to South Point, which is giving samplers to all bingo players at all Saturday sessions.
The El Cortez is giving away See's Candy throughout November. All Club Cortez members winning a $200-plus slot jackpot or a $300-plus video poker jackpot will receive a free box of candy or an envelope containing $10-$100 in free play.
If you are planning to celebrate Halloween by wearing a costume to the casino, remember to not wear a mask when you are playing at the tables or approaching the cage.
