South Point giving away travel sets, barbecue sets
The South Point is running a special spring gift giveaway on Tuesday. Players earning 100 points ($100 coin-in; no point redemption required) will receive a T-shirt. Those earning 500 points can pick up a beverage travel set and anyone earning 1,000 points will receive a barbecue set (plus the other two gifts). There is a limit of one of each gift per customer. From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m May 3, the casino is celebrating the "Run for the Roses" with a special coupon book (good for one logo cap, one food item and one free cocktail) given to anyone placing a $20-plus Kentucky Derby bet. There is a limit of one per person while supplies last.
Every hour from 2 p.m. through 11 p.m. (through Wednesday) Santa Fe Station will draw the name of one pit player (who must be present) to play three hands of blackjack against the dealer of his choice. If he wins all three hands, he receives $1,000 in cash. Interested players should check with the pit regarding how to earn entries.
Players getting three 7s in one hand at blackjack, three-of-a-kind or higher at three-card poker, or hitting a royal flush or $1,000 slot jackpot at the Las Vegas Hilton can pick up a free blanket (while supplies last). On Thursdays, the casino is choosing five players to spin a wheel and win up to $5,000. All Casino Club members with 40 minutes of tracked slot or table play in one day will receive an entry.
Total Reward members can pick up a coupon from any Harrah's booth (Harrah's Las Vegas, Bally's, Paris Las Vegas, Caesars Palace, Flamingo Las Vegas or the Rio) and take it to any other Harrah's property in Las Vegas and receive a T-shirt after earning 25 base reward credits ($125 coin-in on slots, $250 coin-in on video poker; no point redemption required).
The Palms is giving away hundreds of dollars in cash prizes every Tuesday in the poker room. Players can earn entries by playing a minimum of three hours on $2-$5 no-limit games or higher.
On May 19-20, the Suncoast, Gold Coast and Sam's Town will combine forces for a $500,000 Mega Bingo event. Both days will feature 41 games with $1,000 to $100,000 minimum jackpots. The $345 entry fee covers play for both days (one 9-on pack; additional 6-on packs are $25 per day) as well as two breakfast buffets, two dinner buffets, two daubers and a special bingo gift. Seating is limited to 1,800 players combined at the three properties, so either visit the bingo cage or call for reservations.
