Sons help keep Ricky Nelson memory alive

"Ricky Nelson Remembered," starring the singer's twin sons Matthew and Gunner Nelson and the Stone Canyon Band, and rising country star Trent Tomlinson, headline entertainment at the 11th annual Super Run Classic Car Show this weekend at the Henderson Events Plaza, 200 S. Water St., Henderson.

"Ricky Nelson Remembered" performs Friday, while Tomlinson takes the stage Saturday. Entertainment starts at 6 p.m. each day.

The Super Run Classic Car Show kicks off today from noon to 8 p.m. at The District, 2240 Village Walk Drive in Henderson, and continues 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the Events Plaza.

As Southern Nevada's largest car show, the event features up to 1,000 hot rods, motorcycles and classic cars. For details, call 267-2171.
