Scintas return for weekend of shows
We may be going out on a limb, but we predict that for Halloween weekend, the Scintas will dress up like Jerry Lewis or Joe Cocker.
You got us. They do that all the time anyway. "There really aren't a lot of Halloween songs. 'The Monster Mash'?" says Frank Scinta. So the quartet specializing in old-Vegas ring-a-ding is already rehearsing a Christmas show, soon to play in Las Vegas and elsewhere.
The Halloween averse can take refuge with the Scintas at 7:30 p.m. today through Sunday in the Showroom at the Suncoast, 9090 Alta Drive. Tickets are $33-$55; call 636-7075.
