Restaurants introduce summer specials, cocktails

Wolfgang Puck restaurants are offering special pricing this summer. Locals can get 25 percent off their checks from June 1 through Sept. 30 at Cut at Palazzo, Spago and Chinois at The Forum Shops at Caesars, Postrio at the Grand Canal Shoppes and Trattoria del Lupo at Mandalay Bay. Spago also has introduced a $135 six-course beer-pairing menu, Cut offers a $75 three-course pre-theater menu, Chinois has a $39 three-course prix fixe menu with wine and Postrio has added a $49 three-course prix fixe menu with wine. The restaurants also have rolled out summer cocktails. ...

Via Brasil Steakhouse, 1225 S. Fort Apache Road, has introduced a five-course summer lunch special for $11.95. It includes a choice of salad and four meat selections and is available daily. The restaurant also is planning a South American wine-pairing dinner at 6:30 p.m. June 10. The dinner, which includes 18 varieties of rotisserie-grilled meats, is $66.95 per person, plus tax and tip. Giorgio Ristorante at Mandalay Bay, 3950 Las Vegas Blvd. South, is introducing four-course menus spotlighting Sardinian cuisine from June through August. The Surf menu, with an entree of pan-seared branzino with star anise-Vermentino wine sauce, is $39, and the Turf menu, with an entree of grilled Cornish hen with Meyer lemon/olive-oil dressing, is $29. To celebrate its third anniversary, Khoury's Mediterranean Restaurant, 6115 S. Fort Apache Road, is offering $1.50 longnecks and $1.50 margaritas throughout June. Seasons Buffet at the Silverton has introduced a seafood buffet with endless beer from 4 to 9 p.m. Fridays for $23.99.
