Sons of Norway to host lutefisk dinner

Attention, all lutefisk lovers: Vegas Viking Lodge 6-152 Sons of Norway has scheduled its 10th annual Lutefisk Dinner for Feb. 2 at Boulder City Elks Lodge No. 1682, 1217 Nevada Highway. Seatings will be at 3 and 6 p.m.; tickets -- which are by advance sale only; none will be sold at the door -- are $17 for adults, $5 for children 11 and younger. The dinner includes lutefisk with melted butter or white sauce, surkal with roasted pork, boiled potatoes, peas and carrots, lefse, gjende Norwegian cookies, krumkake and coffee and iced tea. Aquavit also will be available. Tickets must be purchased by Jan. 25. Todd's Unique Dining, 4350 E. Sunset Road, Henderson, will feature the cult winemakers of Nevada in a dinner at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. With an entree of veal medallion with green-pepper crust and beef fillet with blue-cheese-roasted jalapeno demi, the five-course dinner is $100 per person, plus tax and tip.
