Oasis for free

The British band Oasis is joining the music rush to the Internet, premiering all of its new album, "Dig Out Your Soul," on MySpace. The album is available at music.myspace.com or www.myspace.com/oasis, and will be released in stores next week.

Hangin' with Spidey

Not only will Stephen Colbert meet the world-famous web slinger Oct. 15 in issue No. 573 of "The Amazing Spider-Man," he also will swing from the rooftops of Manhattan with the hero, according to a page of preview art released by Marvel Comics. The issue continues a long tradition of TV stars appearing in Marvel adventures. Johnny Carson made a cameo in a classic Spider-Man story in 1967; John Belushi and the cast of "Saturday Night Live" teamed with the wall-crawler in 1978; and David Letterman met the Avengers in 1984.

Designer suit tossed

A New York judge has bid "auf Wiedersehen" to fashion industry veterans who claimed Heidi Klum and others ripped off their idea for television's "Project Runway." U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska has agreed to toss out the lawsuit, which claimed the reality series was based on an idea submitted by a fashion designer and a fashion merchandiser. Preska said in a written opinion that it was clear the show was developed independently of the two women who challenged its originality.

Ventura to hit the road

Jesse Ventura will be working on a new conspiracy-theory series for truTV. For the project, from the producers of "Hell's Kitchen" and "Trading Spaces," Ventura will travel the country, investigating cases and getting input from believers and skeptics before passing judgment on a theory's validity.
