QUICK TAKES

Clarkson most successful 'Idol'

According to Billboard, it's Kelly Clarkson -- not Carrie Underwood -- who takes the prize as the most successful "American Idol" winner. While Underwood has more album sales, Clarkson tops her in radio plays and tracks sold. Clarkson has sold 10.6 million albums, 15.9 million tracks and has had 4.2 million radio plays, according to Billboard.com. Country singer Underwood has sold 11.5 million albums and 13.9 million tracks and has netted 2.4 million radio plays. Chris Daughtry, who didn't win "Idol," was third with 5.7 million albums sold.

Lohan to star as Lovelace

Lindsay Lohan will take on the role of '70s porn actress Linda Lovelace in an independent movie, producer Wali Razaqi told the Los Angeles Times. The film, called "Inferno," will look at the events of Lovelace's life. She rose to fame with the landmark 1972 porn film "Deep Throat." Bill Pullman will portray Playboy magazine founder Hugh Hefner in the film. Razaqi said an official announcement about casting will be made at the Cannes Film Festival. Lohan's agent and manager could not be reached for comment.

Star struck with a typo

Showing her sense of humor, Julia Louis-Dreyfus laughed off the misspelling of her name on her Hollywood Walk of Fame star. The Emmy-winning star of "Seinfeld" and "The New Adventures of Old Christine" was honored with a star that read "Luis" instead of "Louis," and there was no hyphen between Louis and Dreyfus. "The misspelling was so perfectly apt, a great metaphor for show business," Louis-Dreyfus said after the Tuesday ceremony. "Right when you think you've made it, you get knocked down," she continued. "It's an ideal metaphor for how this business works." A spokeswoman for the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce said it would install a correctly spelled star and will send Louis-Dreyfus the erroneous star.
