Porn queens duking it out for party host crown

Jenna Jameson once ruled the adult entertainment world, an untouchable -- so to speak -- as the queen of the porn industry.

The buxom blonde was the one all Las Vegas nightclubs chased to host their events, particularly those centered around the Adult Video News convention and awards ceremony.

But it looks as if times are changing as rival Tera Patrick has seemingly bounced Jameson from her pedestal as the "it" girl when it comes to porn stars hosting marquee parties.

Patrick, a sultry, curvaceous brunette who looks more like an ancient Greek goddess than a porn queen, hosted two of the biggest events of the AVN convention at Tao nightclub inside The Venetian and Ivan Kane's Forty Deuce at Mandalay Bay.

Patrick's party at Forty Deuce was arguably the hottest of the weekend, highlighted by her racy burlesque performance with several other scantily clad women at the high-end ultra lounge.

Porn star Jesse Jane also captured some of the weekend's thunder, hosting the Jan. 11 Strip Las Vegas magazine affair at Jet inside The Mirage. Porn veteran Briana Banks had her party at Tao on Jan. 11, followed by multiple AVN award-winner Stormy Daniels' celebration Saturday at The Venetian hot spot.

Oshima to celebrate birthday -- What would a weekend in Las Vegas be without another visit from a Playboy Playmate?

Miss June 2004 Hiromi Oshima hosts her 28th birthday bash Sunday at the Playboy Club, highlighting the weekly "After Dark" party at the Palms.

More models at The Bank -- The search for Las Vegas' top model takes place Sunday at The Bank inside Bellagio. Some of the most beautiful women in Las Vegas will be on hand.

Sightings of the weekend -- Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Denver Broncos wide receiver Javon Walker stopped by Tryst on Saturday inside Wynn Las Vegas.

Mike Tyson was spotted at Rain (Palms) on Saturday. Tyson also was spotted at Pure (Caesars Palace) and LAX (Luxor).

Pitcher David Wells and Anthrax guitarist Ian Scott made a visit to the Playboy Club (Palms) together on Saturday. Wells and Scott also were spotted at Body English (Hard Rock Hotel).

Rapper Pitbull delivered an impromptu performance Saturday at Body English . Also at Body English: actor Dean Cain, singer Ray J, adult film star Sophia Rossi and New York Yankees slugger Jason Giambi.

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo hit Pure (Caesars Palace) on Jan. 11, with actor Geoff Stults and actress/former WWE star Stacy Keibler.

Actress Bijou Phillips worked the turntables Jan. 11 with boyfriend/actor Danny Masterson at Privé (Planet Hollywood Resort). Also at Privé was UFC fighter Chuck Liddell.
