Palms unveils its ‘$200k Curiously Strange Slot Palladium’

The Palms will offer a free-entry slot tournament from 9 a.m.-10 p.m. Sept. 5 through Oct. 2, and more than 120 people a week will win at least $150 in free slot play. As with many things at the Palms, the "$200k Curiously Strange Slot Palladium" has several interesting features. For example, both the weekly (Sunday-Saturday) high scorer and the 120th place scorer will receive $10,500. Players earning 15,000-plus slot tournament points in one session also receive a free Bistro breakfast or lunch buffet. And all tournament players will be entertained by a unique cast of carnival acts masterminded by Jim Rose, who has toured with Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson and Korn. Locals can play once per day, and Palms hotel guests can play up to five times during their stay.

Today, Saturday and Sunday (as well as next weekend), the Western is giving all $100 jackpot winners a chance to win additional cash and other prizes. Also, as an on-going promotion, the casino is offering "Lightning Storm" bonuses. The first player to hit the target jackpot during a "lightning storm" wins additional cash.

This Monday, the Eastside Cannery is awarding a free bottle of wine to all players earning 150 points ($150 coin-in on slots, $300 coin-in on video poker; no point redemption required; limit two per customer).

Ellis Island is giving away a deluxe poker chip set every Wednesday night. Players earn tickets for every hour of table game play or by hitting a blackjack, getting a seven or eleven on the craps come-out roll or hitting a straight-up number on roulette.

Every day in September, all Terrible's players are entitled to a free daily swipe to earn up to $500 cash, free slot play and more.
