Palms has several monthlong promotions; Terrible’s giving away cruises

The Palms kicks off February with multiple promotions. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays next month are part of the "$420,000 Be My Valentine Play, Earn and Win." Club Palms members can take home special gifts based on their same-day points earned from 10 a.m.-midnight. Please note that players keep all points, and points earned on some video poker games are not included in this promotion. The "$81,000 Honest Abe Swipe and Win" happens on Tuesdays. Players can swipe their cards to win up to $1,000 cash, Franklin's Free Slot Play, Washington's Wonderful Bistro Buffet offers, Honest Abe's chest of prizes or points and multipliers. On Thursdays during the "$102,000 Mardi Gras Madness," players can swipe and win up to $100 free slot play, up to $500 cash, food credits, and even a trip to New Orleans.

Terrible's popular Cruise-A-Week Giveaway continues through 2010. At 8 p.m. every Wednesday, the casino draws for a seven-day cruise to the Mexican Riviera (check the promo booth for rules regarding ticket-earning and whether you have to be present at the drawings to win). All members earning 250,000 base points from January to November 2010 receive a free cruise, and cruises may be purchased for 500,000 points (base or bonus). Terrible's also is posting the numbers of 40 randomly selected Players Club members who each will win $100 free play today, assuming they stop by and redeem their prize.

In advance of the Feb. 7 Super Bowl, Jerry's Nugget is giving all $20 "Big Game" Parlay Card bettors a special football T-shirt (limit two per customer) and a square on one of two 100-square Big Game Pools - one is for half-time, the other is for the final score. Each winner will receive an officially licensed NFL jacket. Throughout Super Bowl Sunday, the casino will be offering additional contests and drawings.

Every 1,000 points ($1,000 coin-in) earned in February at Ellis Island gets you a ticket for the casino's $1,100 cash drawing on Feb. 28. Four cash prizes ($200-$500) will be drawn from 4 p.m.-10 p.m., and winners must be present.
