Penny carnival set for Wednesday at Mirabelli

Mirabelli Community Center will host a penny carnival from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the center, 6200 Hargrove Ave.

Games will include a dunk tank, fishing pond, cake walk, treasure dig, plant walk and many others.

Refreshments, including snow cones, popcorn and assorted candies and snacks, will be for sale.

Proceeds from the event will fund scholarships for children to participate in activities at the center.

Admission is free, and games will cost from 5 to 25 cents each.
