Puppets to take Charleston Heights stage
The Hudson Vagabond Puppets will perform "Peter and the Wolf" and "The Sound Mall" at 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Charleston Heights Arts Center, 800 S. Brush St.
Victorian toys will come to life to tell Sergei Prokofiev's classic tale of the 8-year-old boy who fools a wolf.
"The Sound Mall" uses large-scale masks and props to tell how instruments (percussion, strings, brass and reeds) came to be the shape and size they are in order to make the right sounds.
Tickets are $3.
