Israeli independence celebration Sunday
A free celebration of the 60th anniversary of Israeli statehood is scheduled from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday in Exhibit Hall D of The Venetian, 3355 Las Vegas Blvd. South.
The event will feature entertainment, exhibits and a kosher buffet.
Representatives from synagogues and Jewish organizations will staff informational booths, and Jewish businesses will promote their merchandise and services in a "Shuk Market Place."
The entertainment will include the Israeli singing group Habanot Nechama, which is made up of recording artists Karolina, Dana Adini and Yael Deckelbaum.
