Opera Las Vegas presents ‘Puccini, A 150-year Celebration’
Two performers from the world-famous Metropolitan Opera will join Opera Las Vegas when it presents performances of "Puccini, A 150-year Celebration" at 7 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday in the Clark County Library Theater, 1401 E. Flamingo Road.

This Opera Las Vegas presentation will feature works from such classic operas as "La Boheme," "Madama Butterfly," "Tosca," "La Rondine" and others. The Opera Las Vegas Orchestra will be conducted by Marek Rachelski and the show will feature sopranos Cynthia Lawrence and Kallen Esperian from the Metropolitan Opera, tenor Mathew Edwardsen from the Santa Fe Opera and bass baritone Valentin Vasiliu from the Washington Opera.
Opera Las Vegas is a nonprofit arts organization focused on filling the city's cultural needs by bringing the pageantry of grand opera to Las Vegas.
