‘Not That Into You’ hitting screens

The story: In Baltimore, various 20- and 30-somethings dive into the dating pool, test the murky waters of married life and otherwise explore the mysteries of love and/or sex.

The buzz: Based on the nonfiction best-seller by Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo, this date-night comedy also boasts his 'n' hers screenwriters: Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein, whose collaborations range from Barrymore's big-screen hit "Never Been Kissed" to Alicia Silverstone's TV flop "Miss Match." Director Kwapis also has shifted from big screen ("Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants") to small ("The Office"). But there's one credit that seems particularly appropriate: the 1991 comedy "He Said, She Said," with Kevin Bacon and Elizabeth Perkins as rival Baltimore Sun columnists.
