Interested in astronomy, but can't see the sky because of Vegas' bright lights? Or want to try something a little educational with the kids this summer? Check out www.stellarium.org, where you can view a planetarium on your computer screen. Showing a realistic sky in 3-D, this site has a default of more than 600,000 stars. And best of all, it's free.
Some songs are just bad. No, really bad. But what makes them so horrible no sane person would want to listen to them? Over at awesomelybadlyrics.blogspot.com, the author takes a song and breaks it down, line by line, pointing out everything from nonsense words to phrases that don't come close to being fact.
For those who like to get a little crazy with the everyday sandwich, check out www.insanewiches.com. Don't look for the bland ol' PB&J here -- they're not insanewiches for nothing. Some of these sandwiches baffle the mind, and certainly don't look simple to make, while others could add a fun twist to brown bagging it.
