Looking for an innovative way to recycle? Try www.terracycle.net. Here's the deal: You send in empty containers, such as plastic bags, drink pouches, candy wrappers and potato chip bags, and you can get paid for each one you send in. Terracycle then takes the items you send in and recycles them into products you can purchase, ranging from a fence made from drink pouches to a tote made from chip bags. The site also has partnerships where you can send in your recyclables to raise money for schools and nonprofits.
