Killers’ frontman Brandon Flowers playing at Bunkhouse

Brandon Flowers, frontman for The Killers, offers a surprise preview of his upcoming solo album, “The Desired Effect,” in a cozy show Monday at The Bunkhouse Saloon, 124 S. 11th St.

Tickets are $25 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through ticketfly.com. The tickets are limited to two per person and buyers will be asked to present a valid ID at will call.

The Killers played a few blocks away from The Bunkhouse as headliners of the first Life Is Beautiful festival in 2013. Since then the Las Vegas-based rockers have laid low, and Flowers worked on his second solo album with producer Ariel Rechtshaid at the band’s local studio.

The album is due May 18. A single, “Can’t Deny My Love,” will be available March 23.
