Both the "Vacation" and "Mission: Impossible" franchises are hoping the fifth time's the charm at the box office this weekend.

Here's a look at this week's new releases, "Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation," "Vacation" and the documentary "Twinsters":

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE — ROGUE NATION: Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his team (Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames) battle a shadow organization made up of presumed-dead agents from around the world. At multiple locations. (131 min.) PG-13; sequences of action and violence, and brief partial nudity.

VACATION: Rusty Griswold (Ed Helms) packs up his wife (Christina Applegate) and kids and embarks on a cross-country road trip to Walley World, with a stop to see Clark (Chevy Chase) and Ellen (Beverly D'Angelo) along the way. (99 min.) At multiple locations. R; crude and sexual content and language throughout, and brief graphic nudity.

TWINSTERS: The meeting of Anais Bordier, a French fashion student living in London, and L.A. actress Samantha Futerman, sisters who never knew the other existed until Bordier stumbled upon a YouTube video, is chronicled in this documentary. At Village Square. (90 min.) PG-13; brief strong language.
