Hard Rock offering free play; casinos try to cash in on World Cup

This Wednesday through June 25, all Hard Rock Hotel players will receive $25 free play for every 6,000 points earned ($6,000-$12,000 coin-in; no point redemption required) up to a total of $10,000.

Every Tuesday and Thursday at the Palms, members can earn same-day points toward special gifts including a GPS system, stainless steel cookware and much more, and no point redemption is required. And twice every Friday, the casino is giving away 10 prizes including $100-$300 gift cards and $100-$2,000 free play. Players can earn entries playing the slot and video poker machines. Some video poker machines may be excluded from these promotions.

The Las Vegas Hilton is offering high-definition viewing for all World Cup soccer games as well as action on all halves and two- or three-way betting options. Through July 11, players making a $25 soccer wager receive a free shirt.

All Station and Fiesta casinos also have a special World Cup promotion. Through June 25, players receive an entry for every $20 World Cup wager with the drawings at the conclusion of the last match of the day. There will be two winners at each casino.

On Sunday, all Sunset Station bingo players making a $10 minimum buy-in will receive a free set of binoculars, while supplies last. Limit one per player per session.

The Bighorn and Longhorn casinos are having drawings five nights a week through the end of the month. On Mondays through Thursdays, drawings for $300 will be at 7 p.m., $200 at 8 p.m., $200 at 9 p.m., and $300 at 10 p.m. On Saturdays, the drawings are: $750 at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m., and $500 at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Winners must be present.

Every Saturday night through July 3, the Plaza (7 p.m.) and the Vegas Club (9 p.m.) will both draw three winners to spin a wheel and win up to $1,000 in free play. On July 4, there will be a grand prize drawing at the Vegas Club at 8 p.m., and nine winners will receive $500 cash and one winner will drive away with a two-door Chevy Cobalt Coupe. Winners must be present at the drawings.
