Flowers flying solo in Hilton concert

The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers plays his first solo show at the Shimmer Cabaret at the Las Vegas Hilton on Aug. 15. Tickets are $25 and go on sale at 10 a.m. today at the Las Vegas Hilton box office, 3000 Paradise Road.

Thrash pioneers Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax team up to lay waste to The Pearl at the Palms on Oct. 20. Tickets are $55, $65 and $75 and go on sale at noon today at The Pearl box office, 4321 W. Flamingo Road, and Ticketmaster outlets.

The Dukes of September Rhythm Revue, featuring Donald Fagen, Michael McDonald and Boz Scaggs, hits The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel on Oct. 2. Tickets start at $39.50 and go on sale at noon Saturday at The Joint box office, 4455 Paradise Road, and Ticketmaster outlets.

Hard rock cello group Apocalyptica plays the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay on Sept. 7, with Dir en Grey and Evaline. Tickets are $28 in advance, $30 day of show, and go on sale at 10 a.m. today at the House of Blues box office, 3950 Las Vegas Blvd. South, and Ticketmaster outlets.

Country singer Gary Allan returns to the House of Blues on Dec. 31. General admission tickets are $80.50 in advance, $90.50 day of show, reserved seats are $106 and special reserved tickets are $126. They go on sale at 10 a.m. today at the venue box office and Ticketmaster outlets.
