The story: The Cretaceous Period comes alive through the adventures of Patchi (Long), an underdog dinosaur, in this family tale.
The buzz: The BBC miniseries was a smash hit. The arena tour has been seen by more than 8 million people. So there’s definitely a built-in audience for the movie version. But it could face a chilly reception at the box office from families who still haven’t seen “Frozen.”
