First Look: ‘All Is Lost’

The story: After a collision with a shipping container damages his yacht, disabling his radio and navigation equipment, a man (Redford) is set adrift in the Indian Ocean in this high-seas thriller.

The buzz: If you thought “Gravity” had a small cast, just wait. Redford, the only actor onscreen in “All Is Lost,” is generating plenty of Oscar heat for his near-silent performance.
