‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ trailer gets a LEGO remake — VIDEO

LOS ANGELES — Ever imagine what a mash-up of “The Lego Movie” and the upcoming “Fifty Shades of Grey” might look like? Wonder no more!

Lego remake specialist Antonio Toscano crafted an all-Lego reworking of the trailer for the Focus Features release, which is based on the novel of the same name by E.L. James.

The Lego version of Christian Grey sports one of the most menacing Lego faces available, and the all-plastic “red room of pain” has never looked less comfortable.

The much-discussed elevator make-out scene makes a particularly, uh, stiff transition to brick form.

The human version of “Fifty Shades of Grey” bows in theaters February 13, starring Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele.
