Fans hope for fireworks on, off ballfield

Two nights of fireworks await fans of the Las Vegas 51s, the local Triple-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, when the team hosts the Reno Aces today and Friday at Cashman Field, 850 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

The fireworks extravaganzas are a popular Fourth of July promotion that annually attracts thousands of visitors to the ballpark.

Game time both days is 7:05 p.m. with the fireworks displays scheduled to be launched following completion of each night's contest.

All seats are $14 for either game, and tickets are available at the Cashman Field box office or online at www.lv51.com.

Tonight's game also features the Budweiser Dollar Beer Night promotion for those with proper identification. Fireworks will be sponsored by Hitchin' post

The Friday night fireworks display will be sponsored by American Shooters.

The Reno Aces are the Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
