Motorcycle run to aid cancer research

A motorcycle poker run to benefit the American Cancer Society begins at 11 a.m. Sunday at Hogs & Heifers, 201 N. Third St.

Registration for the "Save the Boobs Poker Run," sponsored by Lotus Broadcasting and KXPT-FM, 97.1, will take place from 9 to 11 a.m.

A barbecue and live performance by Southern Stue will follow the poker run at Hogs & Heifers.

The entry fee is $30 per biker and $10 for passengers.

Tennis Channel Open runs through Sunday

The final rounds of the Tennis Channel Open are set for this weekend at the Darling Tennis Center, 7901 W. Washington Ave.

Quarterfinal matches start at 11 a.m. today with semifinal matches at 11 a.m. Saturday and the finals at 10 a.m. Sunday.

Tickets are $40-$160 today, $45-$190 Saturday and $70-$280 Sunday.
