Ever wanted to be a cat? Here’s your chance — VIDEO
Someone finally figured out Internet cats and video games need to be smooshed together, so “Catlateral Damage” debuts next week — a game that lets you portray a cat knocking over everything in the house.
Officially, it’s a “first-person cat simulator.” The camera angle is set in the cat’s eyes.
It started as a KickStarter idea by independent game developer Chris Chung, in Boston.
You portray “a cat on a rampage,” and your goal is to knock as much stuff off of shelves and desks as you can (books, plants, dishes, vases) before your human gets home.
Sadly, the May 27 release will be available only for PC, Mac, Linux on Steam, and Ouya. But if you want to know every little thing about it: Catlateraldamage.com.
