Enjoy another week of magic at charity attraction

The Magical Forest at Opportunity Village is extending its operations by an additional week and offering a discounted admission to all visitors.

Originally set to close on Tuesday , the attraction will remain open through Jan. 7 with a discounted entry fee of $5 from Sunday through Jan. 7 .

The holiday display, at 6300 W. Oakey Blvd., will be open from 5:30 to 9 p.m. today and Sunday through Jan. 5, and 5:30-10 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Jan. 6 and 7.

The Magical Forest includes hundreds of decorated trees, a passenger train, the Enchanted Carousel and other children's rides, a gingerbread house display and entertainment.

Tickets through Saturday remain $9.75 general admission and $7.75 for children ages 3 to 13. All proceeds benefit people with intellectual disabilities at Opportunity Village.
