DON’T MISS IT

LAS VEGAS CLASSIC

It's December madness at The Orleans! Hoop dreamers get to see eight NCAA teams (including Creighton, DePaul, Saint Louis and Fresno State) compete in eight games over two days at the third annual Las Vegas Classic. Watch the action from noon to 7:30 p.m. Monday and from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Orleans Arena, 4500 W. Tropicana Ave. Tickets (which cover both days) are $44-$118; call 284-7777.

BIG BAD VOODOO DADDY

Forget that last-minute shopping, daddy-o. It's time to swing! The sax-flecked beats of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy will help you pretend it's 1945 all over again (or 1995, for that matter).

See the band at 8 p.m. today in the Ovation Lounge at Green Valley Ranch, 2300 Paseo Verde Parkway, Henderson. Tickets are $39.50-$61.50; call 547-5300.

SIN CITY KITTIES

It may be Primm, but now it's just as improper as Vegas, thanks to the Sin City Kitties topless cabaret troupe. And throughout the month of December, not only are tops optional -- so is money. Las Vegas residents receive two $24.95 tickets each for free (as well as a hotel stay at either Buffalo Bill's, Primm Valley or Whiskey Pete's).

See the Kitties at 8 and 10 p.m. today and Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday and 8 p.m. Thursday at the Whiskey Pete's showroom, Interstate 15 South at Primm; call (800) 386-7867.

RICK ARROYO

Latin jazz is not a dead language, and pianist Rick Arroyo and his trio will prove it to you.

Check out the show at 7 p.m. today at the Reed Whipple Cultural Center, 821 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Tickets are $7; call 229-6211.

LA POSADA/DECEMBER FIESTA

Speedy your Gonzales over to traditional Mexican food and entertainment including the Mexico Vivo Dance Company, Xyachimal Ballet Folklorico and Rondalla Viva Mexico. And remember your sombrero.

Enjoy the entertainment from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the East Las Vegas Community/Senior Center, 250 N. Eastern Ave. Admission is free; call 229-1515.
