Dixie Chicks and Rascal Flatts to return to Vegas next year
What a great time to be a country music fan in Las Vegas. As if seeing Sam Hunt just before the holidays and George Strait after the first of the year weren't enough to get everybody excited, two other prominent acts just announced plans to head to Vegas next year.
After several years of being out of the spotlight, the Dixie Chicks are returning to the road next summer for a full run across the country. The "DCX MMXVI" world tour, which is slated to kick off June 1 in Ohio, after a string of European dates, includes a July 16 stop at the Las Vegas Arena. Tickets for the show range from $54 to $154 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday.
After completing its last run here in February, Rascal Flatts is set to return for another residency at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel early next year. The nine-show stay kicks off February 17 and runs through March 5 (Feb. 17, 19, 20, 24, 26, 27 and March 2, 4 and 5). Tickets start at $39.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
