Disney theme parks giving fun away

Representatives from Disney theme parks will visit Las Vegas Friday to encourage fun.

Disney Parks will set up shop from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Town Square, 6605 Las Vegas Blvd. South, to register valley residents who want to receive a free ticket to a Disney theme park on their birthday.

As part of Disney's What Will You Celebrate? promotion, the company also will give away grand prizes of all-expense-paid vacations for four to a Disney park of the winner's choice. Each person who registers for the promotion will receive free admission to a Disney park on his or her birthday and an opportunity to win a variety of electronic prizes. Valid birth documentation is required.

Team members from Disney parks will give away Mickey Mouse balloons during the event as well.

Disney is visiting cities across the country in response to a nationwide trend that finds American families traveling in celebration of such milestones as birthdays, true love and reunions.
