Boyd’s ‘Pick the Pros’ under way; South Point offers royals bonus

Registration has begun for this year's "Pick the Pros" football contest at all participating Boyd Gaming locations: Orleans, Sam's Town, Suncoast, Gold Coast, California, Fremont, Eldorado and Jokers Wild. Registration is free to all B Connected card members and the contest is run on a week-to-week basis (no season-long prizes). Based upon his card level, each participant receives up to five free entries per week. The best weekly performer is guaranteed a $10,000 top prize with an additional $20,000 to be split by other top players. "Pick the Pros" begins on Sept. 12 and will continue each week through Jan. 2. Not a B Connected member? Then sign-up at Sam's Town where all month long, new members receive $5 table game matchplay or $5 free slot play.

Throughout September, The Club at South Point members hitting a royal flush (no wild cards, bottom line of multi-line games only, maximum coins played) using their cards will receive a next-day free slot club bonus worth 200 coins ($1,000 maximum bonus). Dealt royal flushes earn twice the bonus.

The Silver Nugget is playing an extra $1,000 on all dollar video poker royals this month. The rules include: no wild cards, bottom line of multi-line games only, maximum coins played

Binion's players get three chances every day in September to swipe the "Mother Lode" and win up to $2,500. The first swipe requires five points ($25 coin-in on slots, $40 coin-in on video poker; no point redemption required), second swipe is 40 points and the third requires 500 points. Every swipe is a winner; prizes include free slot play, free drinks, free food and cash prizes up to $50 for the first swipe, $100 for the second swipe, and the Mother Lode $2,500 with the third.

Each Wednesday-to-Tuesday week in September, Silverton players earning 1,000 points ($1,000 coin-in) receive a different coin in the Franklin Mint Ultimate JFK Half Dollar Collection. Players collecting all four coins during the month receive a custom cherry-wood-finish presentation box and a certificate of authenticity.
