Boyd Gaming folds Club Coast into its national B Connected system

Club Coast, the players' club at Gold Coast, Suncoast, Sam's Town, and The Orleans, has become part of Boyd Gaming's nationwide B Connected system. According to company press releases (and booth staff we have chatted with), customers at those properties will keep all benefits and club points earned under the Club Coast program and can still use their old cards to earn and redeem points. However, members will now have six months (as opposed to three months) to qualify for Sapphire and Emerald levels, plus slot players will now receive double credit toward those tiers. (Table game players will receive accelerated credits as well.)

The main change in the program is that now, 13 Boyd properties in Las Vegas (including the California, Fremont and Main Street Station), Indiana, Illinois, Mississippi and Louisiana are serviced by one players club. Players can earn points at one property and use them for comps at another. If you have an active account (especially with a large point balance) in both a former Club Coast casino as well as a downtown B Connected property (or at a Boyd property in another state), we recommend that you bring both cards to a B Connected booth and double check that all your points have been accumulated into one account.

This Sunday, Boyd Gaming is randomly giving away $500 in free play to 1,000 players (500 at the three downtown casinos, 500 at the four Club Coast casinos), but you have to stop by the players club booth to see if you are a winner.

Station and Fiesta's $3 Million Weekend Super Swipe runs every Friday and Saturday in July. Players get one free swipe to win up to $10,000 cash, free meals, free slot play, free bingo, point multipliers, hotel rooms, drawing entries and more. At 8:15 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, Station and Fiesta Casinos will give away 50 $1,000 cash prizes (five winners at each property). Players receive one electronic entry for every 50 points ($50-$200 coin-in) earned starting June 27. Earn 50 points on July 4 at any Station or Fiesta casino and receive a free six-pack of Pepsi or Diet Pepsi from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. at Stations or 11 a.m. -- 8 p.m. at Fiestas (one per guest, while supplies last).
