Best of Las Vegas Tip: A puppet show that delivers a punch
For a show that'll make you say Howdy Doody, you can't go wrong with Terry Fator. R-J readers recommend him highly as the Best All-Around Performer in our annual Best of Las Vegas poll.
Variety being the spice of life, we'll split off in another direction and send you over to Wynn Las Vegas to see Garth Brooks. Of course, we're not springing for the $253 ticket. That's why it's called a recommendation.
In the weeks ahead, we'll do the tribute acts and the karaoke bars and the bowling alleys. But this week we're talking A-list. Who is it for you?
If you can't find a great all-around act in the Entertainment Capital of the World, you're just not looking. Fator and Brooks are top shelf, but there are plenty of other terrific performers in the mix. Past winners include Cher, Bette Midler and Celine Dion. With Dion back in town, you can expect this category to catch fire. Elton John's back, too, reminding Best of Las Vegas voters "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me" either.
Dare we mention Manilow? In the same sentence as Santana? Or would that just make Elvis turn over in his ... oh, nevermind.
