Artists to exhibit creations at festival
The 11th annual Spring Art Walk will take place Saturday and Sunday at Trails Village Center, 1970 Village Center Circle. The event is open to the public with free admission and parking from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. both days.
Artists from California, Arizona, Colorado, Oregon and Utah, as well as many of Nevada's best, will exhibit their newest creations throughout the weekend. Art categories include painting, mixed media, sculpture, fiber, jewelry and glass.
Featured for the weekend festival will be Lena Prima, a singer and entertainer as well as an accomplished artist. Prima will perform from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday on the patio near Starbucks. Best known in Southern Nevada as the daughter of Louis Prima, she performs across the country. Her artistic talent extends from her music to her fine art drawings and paintings as well as her jewelry designs.
