Music, food of Brazil featured at Winchester
The World Vibration concert series will pair food and music Sunday at Winchester Cultural Center, 3130 S. McLeod Drive.
Chef Timothy Welc will provide a Brazilian cooking demonstration at noon, followed by a performance by Mocidade Relbelde, the Brazilian percussion ensemble from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, at 2 p.m.
The Heartbeat of Brazil concert will feature the cuica, berimbau, zabumba and other exotic percussion instruments, along with performances by the group's samba dancers.
Tickets for the concert are $10 for adults and $7 for children and seniors.
Tickets for the cooking demonstration are $10 and $15.
