South Point offers special deal on gasoline cards

Next month, South Point players can redeem club points for gasoline -- and at double the normal cash benefit. Every 8,333 points earned in June can be redeemed for a $50 gasoline card (or $25 in cash). Although there is no limit to the number of gasoline cards most players can earn, there were some limits placed on individual high-volume video poker player accounts when this promotion ran last year, so check at the booth if you plan to earn more than $1,000 in cards.

Also throughout June, Palms players may redeem same-month Club Palms points for free play. Points earned on slots may be redeemed at a rate of 200 ($200 coin-in) for $3 free play; video poker players can receive $3 in free play for every 1,600 points. All points must be redeemed at the booth on the day of play (booth hours are 8 a.m.-1 a.m.) and the maximum redemption is $500 per day.

Rampart players can pick up a kitchen timer on Tuesday June 3 or Thursday after earning 150 same-day points ($300 coin-in on slots, $600 coin-in video poker; no point redemption required). On Fridays in June, the casino is giving away a rolling tote bag to players earning 250 points. And on Wednesdays and Sundays in June, players earning 300 points receive a trinket box containing $5 to $1,000 in cash. There is a limit of one gift per customer per day.

On Saturday, all Cannery players earning 299 points ($299 coin-in) receive a long-sleeve logo T-shirt.

Harrah's is bringing back its very popular "Play $100 On Us" new member promotion, and this time it is open to anyone (over 21) who is not already a member of Total Rewards -- including Las Vegas residents. From June 1 through Sept. 30, Harrah's will cover any losses (up to $100) incurred on the first day of your Total Rewards membership at Harrah's Las Vegas, Caesars Palace, Bally's, Paris Las Vegas, Rio, Flamingo Las Vegas and the Imperial Palace. All reimbursements are paid via a cash voucher mailed to your home approximately 60 days after your play.

Players hitting a $200-plus slot jackpot or a $300-plus video poker jackpot in June at the El Cortez will receive a Hawaiian shirt (choice of several colors and designs) or a $10 gasoline/gift card. Jackpot winners also receive an entry into the upcoming Saturday night's drawing for a 42-inch plasma HDTV or $2,000 in cash.

It's "Senior Day" at the Eldorado on Tuesdays and Jokers Wild on Wednesdays. All players 50 years old or older earning 200 points ($200 coin-in) will receive an $8 food voucher.
